Design Studio approached us to assist with their sticky tape inspired letterforms for LLA, the Latin America e-sport league of the ‘League of Legends’ video game franchise. We turned it in to a working font with randomised alternate glyphs. We tuned up their working drawings, expanded the character set and engineered a font in to what is lovingly now named Tapeface, showing the underdog spirit and fierce resilience of a unique e-sport league.
